Job Description
AUTOLOANSERVICES.CA is looking to add an experienced Licensed (310S) Technicians for our Brand New state of the art Service Department.
We are looking to add another mechanic to our growing service team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing problems relating to mechanical, engine and electrical components
- Performs vehicle inspections and assessments including diagnosis issues
- Maintaining required tools for the job
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Executing repairs to manufacturer specifications
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- High volume Dealership with a busy service department
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition
- Raise cars, trucks using hydraulic jacks or hoists
- Specialize in repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmissions & differentials, to include replacing complete assemblies, turbochargers, fuel system components etc.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines with attention to detail
- Communicate directly with manager and service advisors so customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
- Ensuring full compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
- Road tests vehicles as required.
- Maintains complete knowledge of and complies with company and departmental policies, procedures and standards
- Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment
- Sets-up and organizes individual work area with designated supplies, forms and resource materials while maintaining cleanliness
- 2+ years Dealership Experience as a licensed technician
- Strong automotive dealership background with a solid attention to detail
- Automotive service technician trade certification to meet provincial requirements-Must have 310S License
- Maintains all relevant Licenses and Qualifications to perform duties
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical repairs and procedures
- Knowledge of Provincial Safety Standards concerning the performance and area of position responsibility
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and clean drivers abstract
- Ability to drive manual transmission is required for this role
- Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team
- Must be able to communicate in verbal and written English
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
- Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- A passion for safety and mechanical excellence
- Must possess the recommended minimum hand tools for a 310 Technician
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed
- Must have your own tools and safety shoes
- Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
- Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
- Ability to operate all auto repair tools
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must & the ability to operate all auto repair tools
- Experience with CDK is an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Job description
We are growing and we need a responsible person who would be able to manage the day to day operations of our dealership. We are looking for someone who would be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Lot Attendant / Vehicle Porter will be the backbone of our business!! Their role involves getting our sold vehicles ready for delivery and maintaining our inventory and lot organized at all times. The role involves:- Picking up / Dropping off vehicles
- Going to the licensing office
- Banking runs
- Keep all vehicles and parking lot in a clean, well maintained, and orderly condition at all times
- Prepare vehicles for delivery (including but not limited to - inspecting vehicles for cleanliness, fueling and changing plates etc.)
- Assist with dealer trades
- Other tasks as requested by management
- General duties as requested by management
- Assist with special events as required
- Must have a clean driving record and possess a full G drivers license
- Must be licensed for more than 5 years
- Dealership experience (Huge Asset)
